As part of its commitment to fighting climate change and reducing CO₂ emissions, the Hotel Els Pins Resort & Spa has carried out the installation of a self-consumption photovoltaic system on canopies located in the hotel’s parking area. The project consisted of installing 198 solar panels of 605 W and a 100 kW inverter, which will allow the generation of more than 129.84 MWh of renewable energy per year and prevent the emission of approximately 73.12 tons of CO₂ annually. This project involved a total investment of 140,626 euros, of which 84,375 euros were financed through NextGeneration EU funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
